The aim of SweetTalk Copenhagen is to bring together some talented people working in creative industries (design, photography, illustration, film and beyond) and get them to show some of their work and talk about both the work and what inspires them, to a captive audience. Beginning in Ireland, the Copenhagen wing was set up by Simon Roche and Kasper Lynge in 2006.

The evenings are always informal, and social too – the inspirational presentations are one part but there is also always time during each evening to talk to others in the wide network of people from all aspects of creative life that come to SweetTalk events, to share information as well as to meet to our presenters in a casual setting over a beer.

Aside from the speaking evenings we also organise special events such as movie screenings of independent films with a special interest to our audience (two successful screenings have been the Scandinavian premieres of the documentaries ‘Helvetica’ and ‘Objectified’).

SweetTalk Copenhagen is run by Irish graphic designer Simon Roche who co-runs the Smoke & Mirrors design studio.
